Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, will visit Romania on November 9, meeting with President Nicușor Dan and Prime Minister Luca Niculescu. Following her visit to Bucharest, she will travel to Varna, Bulgaria, and then to Antalya, Turkey for a UN climate conference. Her itinerary also includes a stop in Dublin for European political community meetings.
