Justificat.ro combines automated AI analysis with human review to verify claims in the Romanian press. We do not republish articles — we show the original title, the link to the publication, our own summary and our verdict, backed by verifiable sources.
Transparency: every verdict comes with verifiable evidence and a summary explaining the reasoning. Neutrality: verdicts target factual claims, not the people making them. Reproducibility: any analysis can be redone with public sources. Correctability: fast procedures for takedown, reply and review on request.
We extract the article content, formulate verification questions, search independent sources in real time, compare the claims with the evidence and produce a verdict with a confidence score and summary. A final quality self-check flags high-risk results for human review.
TRUE — supported by credible public evidence. ALMOST TRUE — verifiable facts are correct but some claims remain unconfirmed. FALSE — contradicts the credible evidence. MISLEADING — technically accurate phrasing, but missing context distorts the conclusion. INCONCLUSIVE — public evidence does not allow a firm verdict. SATIRE — declared satirical content. Pipeline errors are never published.
Analyses returning FALSE or MISLEADING with low confidence are automatically queued for human review and are NOT published until an editor confirms, rejects or corrects the verdict.
The publisher name appears as plain text with an external link to the original article. The officially declared preview image may be shown with attribution; takedown requests are honored in under 48 hours.
