Adrian Dan, a 31-year-old IT professional, is promoting Tulcea as a cultural destination through free walking tours that highlight the city's ethnic diversity and history. Since starting in 2018 in Bucharest, he has expanded his initiative to Tulcea, supported by local authorities. His tours focus on the city's multicultural heritage, showcasing its ten active communities and their harmonious coexistence. Dan aims to change perceptions of Tulcea, often seen merely as a gateway to the Danube Delta, by emphasizing its rich history and vibrant cultural life. He believes that Tulcea has much to offer, comparable to larger cities, albeit on a smaller scale.
