Serie de demisii la Departamentul de Justiţie din SUA. Ce procurori au plecat
Several high-ranking officials at the U.S. Department of Justice have resigned, including the Deputy Attorney General for Civil Rights and a prosecutor involved in investigations related to Donald Trump. Attorney General Todd Blanche accepted the resignations, which included Harmeet Dhillon, who had been working on voter registration issues. Dhillon's resignation was submitted in October, but she stayed on until the recent midterm elections, which were unfavorable for Trump's Republicans. Other resignations included John Eisenberg and Jason Reding Quinones, the latter overseeing investigations into former intelligence officials' actions during the Obama and Biden administrations. Since Trump's return to the White House in January 2025, several prosecutors have been dismissed for not prosecuting individuals he views as adversaries.
