Reactorul 1 de la Cernavodă, în proceduri pentru repornire. Când ar putea fi reconectat la sistemul energetic

Nuclearelectrica has initiated procedures to restart Unit 1 of the Cernavodă nuclear power plant, with reconnection to the National Energy System expected on November 6. Both reactors have been offline since August due to low water levels in the Danube. The restart of Unit 2 is contingent on rising water levels. Energy Minister Dumitru Chisăliță indicated that a realistic timeframe for restarting a reactor is around two weeks, potentially by November 15, depending on hydrological forecasts. The Cernavodă plant typically contributes about 20% of Romania's electricity production and has been completely offline since August 13.
