This decision was supported by a significant majority within the party's National Political Bureau. PNL plans to revitalize its specialized committees and invite external experts. Prominent members from PNL and USR have expressed support for an alliance ahead of the 2028 elections, emphasizing shared goals despite their distinct identities. Ionuț Moșteanu from USR highlighted the importance of Ilie Bolojan's leadership in ensuring PNL's commitment to citizens over past alliances with PSD.
