Penny anunță în România planurile de expansiune pentru următorii ani

PENNY has opened 40 new stores, reaching a total of 456 nationwide, and completed its fifth logistics center in Mihăilești, Giurgiu County. The company plans to invest 3 billion euros by 2035 to expand to 1,000 stores and enhance logistics capabilities. In 2025, PENNY aims to have 8,000 employees and has seen a significant revenue increase from 2.33 billion lei in 2014 to 9.44 billion lei in 2024. The company, part of the German REWE group, operates in Romania since 2005. Additionally, REWE plans to introduce the BIPA brand in 2026.
