Heavy rainfall in Bucharest has led to flooding in the Carrefour Militari underpass, disrupting bus services. The STB announced route changes due to water accumulation. This underpass frequently floods during rain, highlighting ongoing infrastructure issues such as outdated drainage systems and insufficient green spaces. Poor maintenance of drainage grates exacerbates the problem, while the lack of modern retention basins contributes to the city's flooding challenges.
