NASA has unveiled its next experimental aircraft, the X-70 Fractal, which aims to revolutionize aeronautics with advanced flight control technology. This modular design allows for real-time component adjustments during flight, enhancing maneuverability in ways not previously tested with crewed aircraft. The X-70 is expected to fly for the first time in two years, cruising at Mach 0.75 and reaching altitudes of 13.7 kilometers. It can carry around 900 kg of experimental payloads, providing extensive research opportunities. The aircraft's takeoff weight will be approximately 4,535 kg, similar to the Model 437 Vanguard.
