ING Bank: Concluziile Concurenței din ancheta ROBOR sunt bazate pe o înțelegere eronată a modului de funcționare a pieței interbancare

ING Bank has been fined 405.91 million lei by the Competition Council for allegedly manipulating the ROBOR index. The bank disputes the findings, claiming they stem from a misunderstanding of the interbank market's operations and asserts it will contest the decision legally. The Competition Council has sanctioned a total of 10 banks with fines amounting to 3.73 billion lei for violating competition laws. Other banks, including Banca Transilvania, BRD, UniCredit Bank, BCR, CEC Bank, and Raiffeisen Bank, have also announced plans to contest their respective fines, arguing they acted in compliance with legal regulations and market standards.
