A Pakistani astronaut will be the first foreigner to visit the Chinese space station, as announced by the China Manned Space Agency. The astronaut, whose name is not disclosed, will launch with the Shenzhou-24 crew. This mission follows a training agreement signed in February 2025 between Pakistan and China. The astronaut will return to Earth after a short orbital flight, participating in scientific operations aboard the station. China has significantly invested in its space program, aiming to compete with the U.S. and plans to send astronauts to the Moon by 2030.
