A new aerial target was detected near the Romanian border, prompting two F-16 aircraft to take off from Fetești Air Base. The Romanian Ministry of National Defense reported that the target was located about 4 kilometers north of Chilia Veche. The National Military Command Center informed the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations to alert the population in northern Tulcea County. An RO-ALERT message was sent at 16:51. Additionally, two more aerial targets were identified near Snake Island, leading to the deployment of two Spanish F-18s and two NH-90 helicopters for monitoring.
