Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, will visit Romania on November 9 as part of a Black Sea tour. She will meet with President Nicușor Dan and Prime Minister Luca Niculescu. The visit includes a private discussion followed by official talks and a joint press conference. After Romania, she will continue her tour in Bulgaria to meet with Prime Minister Rumen Radev. This is not von der Leyen's first visit with Dan, as they previously met in Constanța in September 2025. Recent European Commission activities have also included addressing issues related to TikTok and future regulations for gasoline vehicles.
