Claudiu Manda praised his wife, Lia Olguța Vasilescu, for the successful completion of a long-term water project in Craiova. After 13 years of effort, the Isvarna water supply project provides mountain spring water to residents. Manda expressed pride in Vasilescu's determination despite numerous challenges. The project, valued at 500 million euros, faced significant obstacles, including environmental approvals and rising material costs during the pandemic. The pipeline spans 123 kilometers and is expected to benefit future generations of Craiova's citizens. Vasilescu highlighted that this project was promised by previous mayors since 1960 but was never realized until now.
