A significant fire broke out at two houses on Grigore Eremia Street in Chiajna, Ilfov County, prompting a swift response from emergency teams. Upon arrival, firefighters found open flames and heavy smoke, with concerns about the fire spreading to nearby homes. The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Bucharest-Ilfov reported that eight fire trucks, a rescue vehicle, and two SMURD teams were deployed to combat the blaze. The fire has been contained to the two buildings, and there are currently no reports of casualties.
