Two aerial targets were detected near Snake Island, prompting a RO-Alert for eastern Tulcea County. Spanish Air Force aircraft were deployed for monitoring. The Ministry of National Defense confirmed the radar detection of a target approximately 30 kilometers east of Snake Island, within Ukrainian airspace. F-18 jets took off from Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base to investigate. A second target was later identified 55 kilometers west of Snake Island, leading to the launch of NH-90 helicopters.
