The Autonomous Administration of the Lower Danube Navigation in Galați has announced a tender worth 49.14 million lei for the acquisition of equipment and measurements necessary for the rehabilitation and expansion of hydrometric stations on the Romanian sector of the Danube. The contract includes purchasing monitoring equipment for water levels, flow, temperature, and weather conditions, as well as IT equipment for data recording and visualization. The project, funded by the Transport Program 2021-2027, aims to enhance navigation conditions and has a duration of 31 months. The deadline for submitting offers is December 8, 2026.
