The Soldisch Bastion in Sibiu will be transformed into the ASTRA Education Center, preserving its brick walls and tunnels. The project aims to prepare necessary documentation for authorization and execution of restoration works, funded by the National Institute of Heritage. The total project cost is 477,950 lei, with significant funding from the Institute and co-financing from the Sibiu County Council. The center will provide non-formal education programs and integrate into the local cultural tourism offer. Historical material will be preserved, and restoration will follow international standards, ensuring minimal and reversible interventions.
