In Tărlungeni, police conducted 22 searches related to a criminal case involving a car dismantling company. The operation, named JUPITER, was coordinated nationally by the Prosecutor's Office and the Romanian Police. Authorities discovered around 25,000 kilograms of hazardous and non-hazardous waste linked to car dismantling activities. Evidence of illegal waste burning was also found, along with documents regarding the origin of dismantled vehicles and three mobile phones. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the criminal activities.
