Two renowned surgeons in Krakow provided immediate assistance to injured police officers after an attack. They were dining nearby when the incident occurred. Professor Michał Pędziwiatr and Dr. Mateusz Wierdak rushed to help, with Pędziwiatr stopping a police officer's bleeding and later performing surgery on other victims. The injured officers, Jakub Kulik and Artur Morański, were seriously hurt while trying to prevent further harm from the attacker. One officer managed to subdue the assailant despite his injuries. Both officers are reported to be in critical condition, with one facing life-threatening injuries.
