Students from Sibiu participated in a cleanup event in the Tara Colibelor area, collecting various types of litter, including clothing. This initiative is part of a project aimed at protecting natural heritage and enhancing tourist safety. The event was organized by the Daniil Popovici Barcianu College and supported by the Sibiu County Council, which emphasized the importance of selective waste collection. The project, funded with 10.4 million lei, focuses on promoting tourism in the Cindrel, Lotru, and Fagaras mountains. This cleanup complements ongoing volunteer efforts known as 'drumețenii'.
