On November 7, Romania set a Guinness World Record for the largest number of people planting trees simultaneously, with 2,512 participants planting 25,120 ash seedlings in Poienarii Burchii. This event, part of the Friendship Forest project organized by Act for Tomorrow and Kaufland Romania, surpassed the previous record of 2,055 set in India. Each participant had to plant a tree correctly, and the event involved over 3,200 volunteers from various sectors, including students and teachers. The initiative received support from over 50 companies and government institutions, highlighting community mobilization for environmental efforts. The project aims to ensure the care of the newly planted forest.
