Four individuals have been charged in France following an investigation into two thefts at the Lalique Museum and an archaeological center. The thefts occurred in July, resulting in the loss of jewelry valued at €4.5 million and 37 gold Gallo-Roman coins worth €120,000. A total of six suspects were detained during a large-scale operation involving around 90 police and gendarmes. The investigation revealed connections between the two thefts, leading to their consolidation into a single case. The Lalique Museum is set to reopen on November 28 after repairs and security enhancements, but valuable items will remain temporarily removed from display due to security recommendations.
