The film "Fjord" by Cristian Mungiu won the Audience Award at Jakarta World Cinema 2026, marking another international recognition after its success at Cannes. This award was the only one given to a feature film at the festival, which attracted over 25,000 spectators. The event also featured the premiere of the Thai horror film "Inherit" and supported young Indonesian filmmakers through funding for their first feature films.
