CSM București faced a heavy defeat against Brest Bretagne in the Women's Handball Champions League, marking their second consecutive loss and fourth in five matches. The French team dominated from the start, leading 6-2 early on and finishing the first half at 20-11. Despite efforts from players like Valeriia Maslova and Emma Friis, who each scored eight goals, CSM struggled defensively. Brest maintained control throughout the match, concluding with a score of 40-25. The defeat raises concerns for CSM, who now sit fourth in their group with six points, tied with Borussia Dortmund, pending their match against Buducnost.
