Nearly a year after a young man displayed a flag featuring the leader of the Legionary Movement, Zelea Codreanu, in Alba Iulia, the investigation is ongoing. The incident occurred on December 1, 2025, during Romania's National Day celebrations. The individual, Marian I.Ș., was seen with the flag and photographed with supporters of the SOS party. Following media coverage, authorities initiated a criminal investigation and conducted searches at his home, uncovering Legionary propaganda materials. Although he was briefly detained, the investigation remains unresolved, with the case under the supervision of prosecutors from Alba Iulia. The young man also participated in a memorial event for Ion Gavrilă Ogoranu, attended by Legionary sympathizers.
