The restoration works on the III and IV Gates of Alba Carolina Fortress have been completed and received by local authorities. The project, which started in 2025, faced delays and was initially scheduled for completion in spring 2026. The IV Gate, a key attraction, was covered with scaffolding during the 2026 tourist season and was only unveiled in early November. Currently, the IV Gate is closed due to the demolition of the connecting bridge by the city hall, restricting access.
