Romania set a new Guinness World Record by planting 2,512 trees simultaneously during the "Friendship Forest" event in Carbunari, Prahova. Over 3,200 participants joined the initiative, surpassing the previous record held in India. The event was supported by the National Forest Administration, which provided 35,000 saplings. Key figures from the government and various organizations participated, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for environmental protection. The initiative aims not only to achieve a record but also to ensure long-term ecological benefits through community involvement and a five-year care program for the planted trees.
