On Saturday, residents of Craiova celebrated the arrival of spring water from Isvarna, marking a significant EU-funded project connecting Gorj and Dolj counties. Rovana Plumb, former Minister of European Funds, emphasized the project's historic importance and collaboration with local leaders. The initiative, costing over 500 million euros, benefits hundreds of thousands by providing potable water to 14 localities. Plumb highlighted the essential nature of access to clean water as a fundamental right. Eugen Teodorovici, former Minister of Economy, acknowledged the efforts of local leaders in overcoming administrative barriers to realize this complex project.
