In his autobiography, Sir Alex Ferguson reflects on his life-threatening brain hemorrhage in May 2018, crediting his wife Cathy for saving his life. He recalls the moment he collapsed and lost consciousness, only to wake up 24 hours later in the hospital. Ferguson emphasizes the high mortality rate for individuals over 60 who experience such episodes and expresses gratitude for his wife's timely presence. His recovery was challenging, but he made a triumphant return to Old Trafford in September 2018, where he received an emotional welcome from fans, which he described as more significant than any previous achievement in his career. Ferguson, a legendary figure in football, has had a remarkable coaching career, particularly with Manchester United.
