Gabriel Liiceanu expressed admiration for Ilie Bolojan during his speech at Bookfest Oradea, highlighting the city's transformation under Bolojan's leadership. He emphasized the ideal living conditions in Oradea and praised Bolojan's contributions to the city. Liiceanu's admiration is not new, as he has previously compared Bolojan to biblical figures and criticized political opponents. Additionally, Liiceanu supports USR and has shown solidarity with suspended mayor Dominic Fritz. The article also notes the favorable rental agreements of Liiceanu's Humanitas group with the Romanian state, which are significantly lower than market rates.
