A tragic fire at a dog shelter in Iași County resulted in the death of around 30 dogs despite firefighters' efforts. The incident occurred in Bordea, Grajduri commune, where approximately 600 dogs were housed. Firefighters responded quickly, deploying four fire trucks and an ambulance to manage the situation. The fire destroyed materials over an area of about 300 square meters. Investigations suggest that the fire was likely caused by a thermal effect from an unprotected chimney near combustible materials.
