Two young individuals were detained by Brașov police for stealing bank cards and committing fraudulent financial transactions, resulting in a loss of nearly 8,000 lei. The operation, coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office and the Romanian Police, involved a search in Crizbav where stolen cards were found. The investigation began after a cardholder reported unauthorized transactions and missing cards. The suspects, aged 19 and 25, were identified as the ones responsible for the theft and illegal payments. They were arrested for 24 hours based on the evidence collected.
