During Black Friday 2026, payment volumes reached 763 million lei, with significant interest in cosmetics, FMCG, toys, IT&C, fashion, and home decor. Over 250 retailers participated, with one-third starting promotions on November 6. The processed transactions totaled 1.3 million, with an average shopping cart value of 483 lei, significantly higher than usual. The average installment cart value was 1,030 lei. The largest transaction was 135,000 lei, followed by 104,000 lei in services. Cross-border transactions accounted for 17% of total transactions, consistent with previous years. On average, there were 2,000 transactions per minute reported.
