The Bucharest Tribunal has accepted Dan Air's insolvency request, appointing RTZ & Partners as provisional administrator. The airline's operations were halted, and passengers are advised to seek refunds from the payment processor NETOPIA, which has withheld around €1.3 million. The court set deadlines for creditor claims and scheduled the first creditors' meeting for January 2027. Dan Air previously accused NETOPIA of attempting to obstruct its operations and had requested an emergency order for payment processing. The airline's insolvency case was transferred from Ilfov Tribunal to Bucharest, where it was officially registered on November 3, 2026.
