Two goats, Nagi and Pokke, have been brought to Tokyo to naturally clear weeds from a vacant lot, quickly becoming local celebrities. Hired by East Japan Railway, they began their task in October near JR Yotsuya station. Their presence has attracted many admirers, including students and office workers, who enjoy watching them graze. This eco-friendly initiative aims to reduce environmental impact compared to traditional methods like mowing and herbicides. The project is set to conclude around December, but the goats may finish early if they clear the area sooner. Similar projects have been attempted in other cities, but this is the first within Tokyo's Yamanote line.
