She emphasized the need for urgent reauthorization to secure funding for the project and highlighted the loss of significant EU funds for dam rehabilitation across Romania. Intotero pointed out that only one dam in Bihor has been rehabilitated, stressing that all Romanians should benefit from such projects. The Mihăileni dam, 90% completed since 1987, is crucial for water supply and flood protection in the region. Without timely action, funding for future budgets may be lost.
