Romcarbon S.A. Buzău has completed its project for a recycling unit for plastic waste, funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The project, initially valued at over 72 million lei, has implemented a total of approximately 54.8 million lei. The aim is to align with national and EU waste management policies and promote a circular economy. The new facility will produce polypropylene and polyethylene products with high recycled content, meeting EU regulations for packaging waste. Additionally, the project includes modernizing production facilities and installing renewable energy sources, enhancing the company's sustainability.
