Norway is testing a smart guardrail that sprays salt on the road to prevent ice formation, operational from November 12 on a section of the E6 highway. The system features built-in hoses and sensors that monitor temperature and humidity, allowing remote activation to apply a saltwater solution before icy conditions develop.
