The Minister of Justice, Radu Marinescu, announced the signing of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2026-2030, which includes 108 measures to combat corruption in public institutions. The strategy aims to enhance institutional integrity and reduce vulnerabilities in various sectors, including public procurement and healthcare. It was developed based on institutional consultations and criminological studies. A new monitoring methodology will ensure effective implementation, with annual reports to the government. Marinescu emphasized that this strategy will be a significant tool in the fight against corruption in Romania.
