Adrian Echert, a USR deputy, has successfully negotiated a legislative solution for companies facing retroactive VAT claims from ANAF. The publication of ANAF Order no. 1512/2026 enables the application of Law no. 177/2026, allowing affected entrepreneurs to annul tax obligations and request refunds for amounts already paid. This law, adopted unanimously by the Chamber of Deputies, aims to protect businesses from bankruptcy due to unjust tax demands. The procedure's publication comes after a delay, but it now allows eligible taxpayers to benefit from the new measures.
