Bogdan Chirițoiu, the president of the Competition Council, announced that discussions with the new ministers of Transport and Energy have begun to initiate these negotiations this month. Both restructuring plans were supposed to be completed but have not been finalized, necessitating urgent renegotiation. Chirițoiu emphasized the importance of timely action, noting that the European Commission also has its own timelines for processing such requests.
