The construction works for the Unirii Passage in Bucharest are expected to be completed by the end of the year, according to Cristian Erbaşu, the general director of Construcţii Erbaşu. He assured that the main works will not disrupt traffic or daily life around the area. Additional minor works will follow but will not impact the ongoing activities. Funding for the project was secured, and a contract for the rehabilitation of the Dâmboviţa River covering slab was signed in January 2024 for 867.75 million lei.
