The Romanian National Bank released new exchange rates, showing the leu depreciating against major currencies. The euro rose to 5.3408 lei, while the US dollar increased to 4.7795 lei. The Swiss franc saw the largest gain, reaching 5.8417 lei. The British pound also appreciated slightly. Meanwhile, the price of gold per gram decreased to 624.9110 lei.
