The majority of these cases were concentrated in five counties, with Bucharest leading at 220 cases. Bihor experienced a significant annual increase of 61%, while Constanța and Timiș also saw rises. Conversely, Maramureș, Sibiu, Iași, and Prahova reported declines in insolvency cases. The construction sector had the highest number of cases, followed by transportation and restaurants, which saw a notable increase in insolvencies. Factors such as long payment terms and high operational costs are impacting these industries.
