France has unveiled a maritime version of the B-STRIKE ballistic missile, designed for naval platforms to target surface vessels at a range of 1,000 km. This missile, developed by ArianeGroup, is expected to be the first anti-ship ballistic missile in Europe. It features a maneuverable reentry vehicle for enhanced accuracy and is capable of using external targeting data, including satellite reconnaissance. The missile can also engage land targets and may be launched from various platforms, including future vertical launch systems and unmanned surface vessels.
