A human trafficking network exploiting over 30 young women in Europe has been dismantled by DIICOT. The group, led by manele singer Niculae Danciu, reportedly earned over three million euros in six years. Two police officers allegedly aided the traffickers by warning them of complaints. The network operated in Germany and Austria since 2020, using the 'lover boy' method to recruit victims. Danciu's son, Mario, who previously caused a child's death while driving without a license, is also implicated. The investigation involves international cooperation, with multiple raids conducted across Germany and Austria.
