NATO has launched an online platform for its 32 member states to easily purchase or rent anti-drone equipment in response to increasing drone incidents in Europe. The platform operates like an online store, allowing countries to select and acquire anti-drone solutions through a simplified system. NATO organized auctions and received 80 bids, signing contracts with five defense companies to provide effective and affordable equipment. The systems aim to protect borders and include various solutions for countering drones. Prices range from 1.6 million to 25 million euros, depending on capabilities, with member states committing to invest 40 billion dollars in defense against drones over the next five years.
