The painting works at the underground chapel of the National Cathedral have entered the second phase, focusing on the Pantocrator icon. Artists are also depicting the Assembly of Romanian Saints and other significant scenes. The project, led by mosaic painter Daniel Codrescu, began in July and includes various biblical representations. The completed first phase was received in September, and work continues to enhance the liturgical space.
