Fuel prices for gasoline and diesel have decreased this morning across major distribution chains in Romania, following recent price adjustments. OMV Petrom has lowered the price of standard gasoline by 9 bani per liter and diesel by 5 bani per liter. Prices are now below 10 lei per liter for gasoline and under 11 lei for diesel at all major stations. The government has extended the crisis situation in the oil and petroleum products market until January 31, 2027, implementing measures to regulate prices and exports. These measures include limiting commercial markups and requiring prior approval for exports of diesel and crude oil.
